Summertime Blues: A Stimulating Story

Sen. Tom Coburn and Sen. John McCain released their newest collaboration today:  Summertime Blues.  This report highlights some of the mindless, wasteful spending perpetrated by the stimulus monies.  

A sidewalk in Boynton, OK that replaced a perfectly good sidewalk, it was needed however.  They needed someway in that town to find their way to a ditch!

Studying ants, how the population growth in the US affects the Himalayas, providing money to a contractor who has twice been convicted of receiving kickbacks, and the list goes on and on.

We have heard for decades about wasteful government spending, but we the mindless mushy middle keep re-electing the same politicians that are responsible for approving this crap.  American's have fallen asleep at the wheel and evidently none of the recent events in politics have awakened us.
